The last class of English I expect to have at the university

Imagen
Finally! Is the last blog I have to do! I don't like doing blogs because I don't like talking about myself, and sometimes the themes are very boring and I can't reach the words I'm asked to write, and is a little stressing. Anyway, I'm very glad because I think the english course at university isn't very good. That is because I have not learned much and most of what I have learned is useless for wh at I am studying, because is very basic and only for comunicate in formal english. I mean, I haven't learn how to buy things, so if I go to US I would be able to talk about my family but I will starve and sleep in the streets jajaja. Besides, since our fist year we've been forced to read texts and papers in english, so if you don't understand english you are a little screwed up. One of my worst problems when I'm talking in english is that I speak spanglish (once I said notes instead of grades jajaja ups) but I think that is because I confuse both...

Changes I want to make.

Actually, I want to change almost everything about my study programme. As you might know, in Chile the education is a business for some people, and because of that the people in charge extend the time we need to study with some courses that are completely innecesary for us. So for start, I would eliminate some courses as Comportamiento Humano en la Organización, or fuse others like Epistemologia de las Ciencias Sociales and Metodología de la Investigación en la Administración Publica. Besides, that is one of the reasons why the career is longer than it should be. Now, about the infrastructure... well, this subject is a very sensitive matter in our school. We don't have enough space for all of the students and we have to lunch in the floor. And even more... next year we will have 200 new students and we don't know where we would put them. We don't have space for classes and the library only has room for like 20 people, so is very unworthy for us having to come...

My opinion abut some stuff

What is your opinion about tattoos? I think tattoos are very beautiful and I love them when they are meaningful for the person who have it. I would love to have a tattoo about something I really care about, but I hate pain and is a little bit scary for me. I think if you really know you want a tattoo now, and you know the importance of that decision, you should go and have one done! What is your opinion about recycling? As you might know, we have lot of problems with the weather and pollution in the air and oceans. Some of these problems are because as humans we waste a lot of things and we don't give them a second chance or be conscious about the consequences about what we waste and why we throw out. I think is very important that we become aware of the damage we do to our selfs and every other living stuff in the planet, and change our behavior and start recycling. In Chile we should have more policies about it. What is your opinion about legalizing abor...

Sports

Today I´m going to talk abou my passion, sports. When I was younger and had more time I did sports, but now, I don't have time and I have back issues that make me feel very bad and sometimes I can't even walk. Any way, that´s not why we are here, so lets talk about when I was good at sports.  This is a picture of me when I was in fifth or seventh grade and I was a cheerleader at my school. I was a top, the tops are the ones that stay in the top when we do elevations. I stopped doing this because I got older and in school we didn't had cheerleader for the olders. Anyway, I dind't like it very much so it wasn't very sad for me. This is me in a travel I did when I swam. I traveled to Antofagasta with my team. The name was yallco and our teacher was Kristell Köbrich mom. I liked to swim croll and back and I have to say I was very good at it. This is a photo when I was a selected regional in swim, and I competed in Talc representing my school and the regi...

Postgraduate studies

Hello! Today I'm going to talk about dreams. As some might know, I really love law and I want to work in the General Conmptroller, because I think this days we need to look out what people does because we have a lot of people who commit corruption in Chile, and I think that we work for making lifes of others better, and not making just our lifes better with money. That is why I want to make a postgrade about administrative law, because in Public Administration we have only 3 classes about law, and I found out that I really liked it so I started thinking about having a degree in administrative law. Sadly for me, I've searched in PUCV, PUC and Universidad de Chile, and all the degrees in administrative law are only for lawyers, so I can't make them :( If I'm being honest, I haven't look abroad so I don't know if this requirement exists only here in Chile or is everywhere (hope this exists only in Chile, because I really want to do it). Anyway, I say this is only a...

My dream job

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to talk about what I wanted to be when I was younger. For a very long time, when I was at school, I wanted to be an astrophysic. I know is strange cause you might know for my other blogs, I'm studying public administration, a non-related career at all.       Why I wanted to be astrophysic? Because I wanted to travel to the space and be in a rocket, also, because is a career with lots of men and I really wanted to work in the area because I believe in equality. Also I wanted to work in the NASA because I think is very amazing and misterious everything related to that organization.      Why I decided to choose another career? Because astrophysics has lots of math, and I'm not very good at it. I remember one time my dad took me to an astronomic center at La Serena, and it was very magical for me, everything that is outside and we don't know, I really loved that experience and it made me love even more astronomy, I rememb...

Public Administration

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to talk about something that definitly changed my life... the career I'm studying As you know, I'm studying public administration at Universidad de Chile, and I'm very happy because this was my only option and the one university I wanted to get in, so I guess I got what I wanted. I chose it like two months before the PSU, so it was a very fast choice. I chose this career because my mom and my aunt works in the bureaucracy, so I grew up knowing this world. Also, I wanted to study something related with social sciences, and I thought this was a good idea.  I didn´t knew very much about this career because no one in my family or related to us studied public administration, so I got in knowing very little about what I was getting to, anyweay, I made a good decision because I really love it. The experience has been really good so far because I've made lots of friends and I really love what I'm studying. My favorite subject ...
