Changes I want to make.

Actually, I want to change almost everything about my study programme.
As you might know, in Chile the education is a business for some people, and because of that the people in charge extend the time we need to study with some courses that are completely innecesary for us. So for start, I would eliminate some courses as Comportamiento Humano en la Organización, or fuse others like Epistemologia de las Ciencias Sociales and Metodología de la Investigación en la Administración Publica. Besides, that is one of the reasons why the career is longer than it should be.



Now, about the infrastructure... well, this subject is a very sensitive matter in our school. We don't have enough space for all of the students and we have to lunch in the floor. And even more... next year we will have 200 new students and we don't know where we would put them. We don't have space for classes and the library only has room for like 20 people, so is very unworthy for us having to come to class in a space like this. But is what we have, and between this and nothing... we have to resing ourselfs.

The teaching methods are very old (like 19th centuy). They way they teach is something like... we go to class and the teacher speaks for an hour and a half, we have to read a loooot of things and then in the test, we have to throw up all the knowledge. Is very absurd because we end like a book and we have to learn lots useless stuff and that we won't use ever again.

Anyway, I love what I'm studying so I have to be strong this five years and then... I'm free!

    The reality of your faculty is really similar to what happens in my faculty (arts) cause we both have really problematic infrastructure issues that haven´t been solved in a lot of years, and that's really frustrating for us, so i understand really well how you feel

    I'm in the same contradiction as you, I feel that I want to change everything in our major but at the same time I like very much what I study haha

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to talk about what I wanted to be when I was younger. For a very long time, when I was at school, I wanted to be an astrophysic. I know is strange cause you might know for my other blogs, I'm studying public administration, a non-related career at all.       Why I wanted to be astrophysic? A country I'd like to visit

A country I would like to go is Spain. About 4 years ago I traveled to Europe with my aunt and we knew a lot of countries, and definitely what I liked the most was Spain. I was in Toledo, Madrid and Barcelona. Spain is between France and Portugal and I really loved there. I think is a good place to live for a lot of reasons, first, i don't need to learn new languages because they speak spanish as I. Also I love that is close to other countries, so I can travel for a weekend to another country. But first, I need to know best Spain, it has a lot of history (the good one, no the colonization of America) and so many beautiful places to visit. For example in Spain is the Sagrada Familia, Almagro, Monastery of Monserrat, and I don't know I think that even the most normal places for the people that lives there are impresive to me (maybe because I love the country)     I know politics aren't very good there, but I'm studying public administration so I guess I can...

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to talk about something that definitly changed my life... the career I'm studying As you know, I'm studying public administration at Universidad de Chile, and I'm very happy because this was my only option and the one university I wanted to get in, so I guess I got what I wanted. I chose it like two months before the PSU, so it was a very fast choice. I chose this career because my mom and my aunt works in the bureaucracy, so I grew up knowing this world. Also, I wanted to study something related with social sciences, and I thought this was a good idea.  I didn´t knew very much about this career because no one in my family or related to us studied public administration, so I got in knowing very little about what I was getting to, anyweay, I made a good decision because I really love it.
